About the Business:
InvoCare is a leading provider in the Funeral, Cemetery & Crematoria, and Pet Cremations industries, dedicated to our purpose of serving families with dignity and respect. We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our Property team and support our vital activities across all our divisions.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be the backbone of our Property division, supporting the Head of Property Strategy and managers across a range of functions, including property management, leasing, development projects, and transactions. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and smooth day-to-day operations of the team.
You'll take a thorough and considered approach to all your duties, working closely with the Property Manager and play a key role in our Property division's success, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Administration: You will handle a variety of essential administrative tasks, including collating approval papers and business cases , raising purchase orders , and managing expenses.
- Property Management: You will provide crucial support with lease administration, which includes processing land tax assessments and council rates notices, managing rent payments and outgoings, and assisting with utilities connections and disconnections. You'll also arrange security deposits and other bonds when required.
- Reporting: You will complete monthly reports that comply with regulatory and audit requirements. You will also help maintain records in our lease management system for our leased properties.
- Stakeholder Relationships: You will build and maintain strong relationships with external parties and foster trust with your peers and relevant business units.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in property and business administration.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and a large workload.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Adept at using Oracle Compass, SAP, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive and solutions-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with e-signature platforms and matter management software is desirable.
