Your role leads a team of Managers and Leads to bring strategic vision and priorities of change initiatives in line with NAB and the Home Ownership Domain. This includes defining and executing on 3rd Party Assessment’s strategic priorities, including colleague and customer experience, performance metrics and key commercial measures.

**In this role, you will**:

- Execute 3rd Party Assessment function strategic vision and prioritisation of change initiatives in line with NAB and Home Ownership’s strategic vision.
- Provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the 3rd Party Assessment function, notably the Complex function.
- Ensuring a strong performance and leadership culture for the function, underpinned by Distinctive Leadership principles, as well as management of significant escalations, queries and operational technical issues.
- Provide data analytics and insights, including regular dashboard reporting.
- Manage and engage with relevant stakeholder groups and outsourcer providers.
- Drive a strategic and customer-first mindset by aligning strategies, decisions and initiatives.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Extensive experience in banking or financial services, with at least 6+ years in an operations or lending function.
- Credit assessment experience with an understanding of the lending process, credit policy and procedures.
- Proven leadership skills within a large operational function developing capable teams and working alongside senior leaders.
- Proven ability to take the lead and support projects, change initiatives and long-term strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen, balancing cost and productivity opportunities against customer and colleague outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
