**Capability and Partnerships Manager**
- The opportunity to be at for front of healthcare transformation across the personal injury compensation schemes in NSW

- Salary range: $134,411 - $155,445 + super, commensurate with experience.

**About us**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Health Strategy team.
Healthcare costs account for $1 billion annually across the states two biggest personal injury schemes in NSW - Workers Compensation (WC) and CTP. The Health Strategy team is striving to be at the forefront of driving improved health outcomes for people who are injured on the road or at work. SIRA is implementing a transformative value-based healthcare strategy for healthcare in the NSW personal injury compensation schemes to directly improve the health and wellbeing of the people of NSW.
In our next phase of implementing value-based healthcare, we are keen to further support and develop capability within the healthcare sector to engage, adopt and support implementation.

**About the role**
- Lead and manage the planning and delivery of capability and engagement projects with sector for the successful implementation of value-based healthcare initiatives
- The role will collaborate and partner with stakeholders including health care providers, clinicians, academics, industry leaders and people with experience of the schemes to support implementation of a range of complex program initiatives in the NSW personal injury compensation schemes.
- Develop and deliver a suite of capability, training and engagement initiatives.
- Build strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure long-term success and optimal service delivery.

The role reports to the Director, Health Policy, Prevention & Supervision, in the Value-based Healthcare team.
**About you**:
- A dynamic, proactive, and engaging leader.
- An experienced program manager who has led large complex projects and programs.
- Previous experience in delivering transformative programs in health, human services or the regulatory sector.
- Can build great relationships with key and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop and deliver coordinated capability and engagement strategies across a sector.
- An analytical thinker who can think outside the box to solve complex problems.
- A flexible worker who can adjust their capabilities to suit a variety of stakeholders.
- Thrives around people, working towards collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong background in public policy, preferably in either health and human services or regulation.
- Strong understanding of values-based healthcare, health outcomes, the health sector and program management.
- The advanced ability to project manage and report against progress.
