Allied Technical Services provides repairs, maintenance and installation of gym equipment across Sydney. We are a preferred supplier for major manufacturers and service some of the most well-known gyms in Sydney including Fitness First, Virgin Active, Snap Fitness as well as premium facilities including multiple NRL and AFL clubs.
**Job description**
As a result of growth and new supplier contracts, our Company is looking for a Customer and Operations Manager to join our team. The position will be a permanent position based in our headquarters in Seven Hills.
The Customer and Operations Manager is required to ensure the technicians are as efficient as possible by preparing all aspects of the job prior to work commencing. The goal is to maximise the time the technicians are at job site and to assist in speed and accuracy of job completion.
This is achieved through completion of the following responsibilities;
- Scheduling jobs that are ready for processing by liaising with the customer and booking in the technician using our job system.
- Working closely with the team of technicians to give them visibility on their schedule and keep track of daily performance so customers can be alerted if there are issues around meeting agreed timeframes.
- Ensure all job packs (system ready and parts / equipment prepared) are ready for technicians to pick-up prior to work commencing. Ideally this should be done 2-3 days ahead of time when possible so technicians only need to visit the warehouse 1-2 times per week.
- Work closely with the Administration Assistant to understand what stock is being delivered for what jobs.
- Manage the warehouse stock levels including ensuring all stock on hand is recorded as in/out and warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe.
- Build a great relationship with the technicians to be their point of contact for support on logistics, schedule and customer management. Facilitate the monthly team BBQ for the team and build a team first culture.
Required skills and experience.
- Experience managing logistics and warehousing is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience in a customer facing role and ability to handle difficult conversations.
- Forklift licence (preferred but training can be provided to the right applicant).
- Must have the right to work full time in Australia.
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
