We are an enterprise-wide, C-suite sponsored program team within the Group Procurement Function, built to drive value and operational excellence throughout the Business Units through a consulting service that leverages a strong program structure and provides leading practice insights / thought leadership and delivery excellence to our business partners.

**About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Strategy Director to lead the identification, validation, and delivery of a set of strategic internal and third-party cost optimisation initiatives (opex or capex) across multiple Business Units (Group Platforms) to support their annual and long term strategic objectives.

**What you’ll do
This role will directly contribute to the success of the Woolworths Group Platforms strategic objectives and will support the development of a high-performing internal GNFR Strategy Capability. You will:

- Partner with Business Unit Leadership to identify & deliver a portfolio of strategic initiatives to achieve Annual Plan
- Organise and structure Business Unit & Supplier Ideation and opportunity shaping and prioritisation workshops
- Develop high quality strategic artefacts, presentation materials and business cases and present to senior leaders to gain approvalLead, shape & develop a pyramid team of Strategy consultants to deliver value to the BUs while allowing the individuals to reach their potential

**What you’ll bring
**We are looking for an individual with prior or current consulting experience with demonstrable leadership skills who can nurture and drive a high-performing team. You will bring:

- Minimum 10 years with a Tier 1 consulting firm where you developed strong leadership skills as part of your consulting and problem-solving toolkit.
- Strong Program Management skills with a proven analytical and creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity
- A proactive approach that delivers quality outcomes while leading & prioritising a team with multiple project demands
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to influence & gain credibility with senior stakeholdersPrior experience leading Strategic Cost Reduction programs will be highly regarded
