**The Role**
APS Recruitment seeks motivated individuals to join our team as we transform recruitment within Defence. Our APS 5 roles offer unique opportunities to drive change and innovation, grow your leadership skills, and work on projects, to enhance and support Defence’s recruitment of APS employees.

We have both actual and expected vacancies across the team, where you can grow and contribute your experience in recruitment.

Opportunities exist to:

- Lead a team of APS4 Recruitment Officers, overseeing workloads, providing support and ensuring smooth recruitment processes;
- Support internal learning and development by identifying knowledge gaps and developing training programs to enhance performance and compliance;
- Drive and contribute to key projects related to policy, governance and integrity;
- Provide input on attraction and assessment strategies;
- Explore recruitment trends, policy updates, and best practices to help Defence achieve its recruitment goals;
- Build strong relationships and networks to enhance collaboration and customer outcomes.

We currently have recruitment hubs located in Melbourne, Canberra and Raymond Terrace. A merit pool will be created to fill future roles that become available.
