**The Role**

Join our team as a Casual Cross Platform Producer/Editor/Sport enthusiast

In this role, you'll dive into the exciting world of sports content creation, focusing on our digital and social platforms. Working alongside our Sports team and reporting to the Digital Lead, you'll be at the forefront of crafting top-notch content that engages our audience.

Reporting to the Digital Lead within our Sport team, this role will be responsible for:

- Producing, editing, and curating content for Sport's digital platforms, with an emphasis on sparking conversations across social media and crafting captivating website articles.
- Expanding our library of multi-platform content to enrich our website, social media, and On Demand offerings, while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Staying in the loop with the latest sports news and events, especially those covered by SBS, and keeping an eye on competitors' output to stay ahead of market trends.
- Building and maintaining a network of contacts to enhance interview content and amplify our rights portfolio, all while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exemplifying SBS Values in all interactions and processes, upholding ethical standards, and fostering a positive work environment that aligns with SBS's Charter, Vision, and Values.

**About You**

We are looking for a passionate social and digital media content creator, backed by 1-2 years of experience. If you're well-versed in SBS On Demand's sports portfolio, including cycling, football, and motorsport, you could be the perfect fit

Ideally you will have:

- 1-2 years of experience in social and digital content creation within the media industry, with a focus on SBS On Demand's sports portfolio.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Media / Journalism
- The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team, especially on larger projects.

An appreciation for SBS's role in showcasing Australia's cultural diversity.
