**The Role**

This role will identify and pitch Sports content to the senior NITV editorial team and plan, research and develop cross-platform sports content. The Sports Producer, NITV will be required to assist with content gathering, output, research and production as well as plan and produce sporting event coverage, liaise with internal stakeholders and external production companies and crews for coordination.
- Be the editorial and planning lead for sport content in NITV.
- Identify cross platform opportunities and pitch them to the NITV Executive producer.
- Be the central point of contact for NITV on planning coverage for major sporting events with editorial leaders across NITV in particular the Head of Entertainment, Events and Creative, NITV, with the aim of sharing content across the network.
- Work collaboratively with content teams across SBS to produce and amplify sporting events, to ensure NITV contributes to the overall content strategy for SBS.
- Manage delivery of content from a variety of external sources to on air '“ working with editors and also editing and packaging up to deliver to on air when necessary
- Work closely with NITV, Sport and ALC, to share their stories and collaborate where possible

**About You**
- You will demonstrate the ability to research, write, and produce sports content (including sports events, and community stories) on air and/or online platforms;
- The ability to oversee creation of content/edits from multiple sources, and deliver to on air, on demand, and social media platforms.
- Some video editing experience is preferred but not compulsory.
