What will you be responsible for?
- Plan, manage and control the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Work with stakeholders and CI data owners to ensure the quality of the CMDB data
- Continuous improvements for the automation and maintenance of non-discoverable data attributes
- Responsible for identifying which Configuration Item (CI) types, CI attributes, and CI relationships are tracked in the CMDB
- Conduct data quality analysis, provide recommendations to address data quality issues, and manage the implementation of approved recommendations
- Work closely with Change Management
- Define and document the processes and procedures for creating and maintaining CI data
- Manage Configuration Item review attestations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Responsible for the execution of the Configuration Management plan
- Evaluate requests for new CI classes, CI attributes, and CI relationship types
- Defines, creates, and monitors CI data health reports / dashboards
- Defines the scope of CI data audits, documents the audit processes, ensures the audits take place, and any issues identified are resolved
- Manages the design, development, and implementation of process and / or CMDB enhancements

What are we looking for?
- ServiceNow experience with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and how it supports other ITSM processes
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize requirements
- Experience creating CI Data Health reports and working with CI Data Owners
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and tasks
- Proficient in some or all of the following: Java script, Angular JS, or other related languages and libraries, Python, PowerShell, integrations with webservices (SOAP and REST), and comfortable with API usage.
- A team player comfortable with a fast paced environment, switching priorities, and multitasking
- Self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish goals and objectives
- Ability to think and act independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have demonstrated organizational, project management and client interfacing skills.
