**What to Expect**

Join the exciting and fast-paced Tesla Energy team as an Interconnection Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be part of the Sales Engineering team, helping to drive Tesla’s energy projects forward. This role offers the opportunity to support utility-scale battery storage projects across Australia. We are looking for someone who is passionate about engineering and energy, has a keen interest in project coordination, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

This is a full-time position, based in Melbourne.

**What You'll Do**
- Assisting with Key Relationships and Stakeholder Communication: Support the management of key relationships and communication with stakeholders within the grid connection workstream. Coordinate interactions and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, network service providers, network operators, and internal engineering teams.
- Assisting with Submittals and Documentation Management: Ensure timely submission of all required studies and documentation related to interconnection
- Assisting the tracking and coordination of comprehensive documentation, ensuring accurate recording and communication of relevant information to stakeholders
- Assisting Project Scheduling and Delivery: Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, monitor progress against milestones, and ensure the timely delivery in alignment with committed timelines
- Participating in Policy Support and Coordination: Support coordination among different teams, including Tesla policy teams and internal technical teams, to address key National Electricity Rules (NER) developments and reforms as part of an ongoing program

**What You'll Bring**
- 2+ years of Experience: Demonstrated experience in process administration and project coordination (within the energy or renewables sector desired, but not essential)
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering (desired, but not essential)
- Understanding of Energy Sector: Basic knowledge of the energy sector. Familiarity with the National Electricity Market (NEM) or similar regulatory frameworks, grid connection processes, and renewable energy sources (desired, but not essential)
- Stakeholder Management: strong stakeholder management, with a proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels
- Project Planning and Coordination: Extensive capability in project planning and coordination, including tracking progress against milestones
- Track record of providing effective project support and achieving targeted outcomes in complex environments
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
- Multi-Tasking and Prioritisation: Ability to prioritise and execute multiple projects and tasks in parallel, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines effectively
