**About the role**

The Para-Certification Officer is responsible for the management of incoming and allocation of tasks to the Certification team. The role includes triaging tasks, contacting the customer to meet established service levels for customer service, and assisting certification officers. Specifically, the role will include managing and undertaking follow up inspections for Building Information Certificates, Pool Compliance Certificates and Roads Act approvals.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position ensures efficient and effective service delivery, of the Certification Function, Roads Act approvals and Building Information Certificates, aligning with the Council’s Community Strategic Plan deliverables.

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience working in a Certification business
- Experience in Roads Act Approvals (Dining)
- A detailed knowledge of development pathways, including the regulatory framework applicable to Council Development Compliance and Building Certification
- Expert knowledge of OneCouncil or equivalent and experience in training others in a structured program

**Remuneration**

$80,136.68- $93,296.84 + 11.5% Superannuation
