Tasks and Qualifications:
THE OPPORTUNITY

We have a wonderful opportunity for dedicated and detail orientated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team at head office in Belrose. You will play a crucial role in collection of debtors and maintenance of debtors ledger.

This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity with possible extensions and permanent opportunities. Following suitable onboarding, this position allows for 3 days per week from home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE- Processing daily banking and receipting of customer payments against invoices through ERP module- Collection and follow up of overdue customer debts- Daily distribution of customer purchase orders to relevant departments- Attendance to AR credit enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.- Monthly reconciliation of AR Debtors’ ledger- Regular update to management on overdue accounts- Assist with preparation and issuance of monthly customer statements- Timely support Debtors analysis report enquiries- Assist with Customer Credit verification including reviewing support provided, running credit report and setting of new customers- Support with Cash Flow forecast information- Assist with recommendation of bad debts- Support AR Credit Controller as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Demonstratable experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with customers and build relationships at all levels- Proactive, resilient and highly self-motivated- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy- The ability to work effectively in a team environment- Excellent written and oral communication skills- General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
