The Field Service Manager **(based in Moorebank) **is responsible for managing a team of Field Service Fitter Mechanics within a designated service area and ensuring all breakdowns reported on customer sites are responded to and dealt with promptly and safety. The Field Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the team of Field Service Fitter Mechanics are skilled to provide exceptional customer service during all customer callouts and that they complete all work on customer sites in line with safety, legal and quality budgetary protocols.

**Your new role awaits**:

- Effectively develop, coach and support our team of contractors to ensure alignment to our business processes
- Achieve key KPI’s (reduced number of equipment breakdown calls, calls attended within SLA’s) in line with National standards in service
- Ensure the appropriate training of new and existing Technicians and contractors to ensure consistent alignment to Coates policies and procedures
- Understand and maintain appropriate resource and staff levels in line with maintenance demands and budget requirements
- Ensure the team of Field Service Fitter Mechanics complete repairs on customer sites in line with safety, legal and quality budgetary protocols
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service and is capable in fault finding technical/mechanical equipment quickly, providing solid solutions and effectively liaising with the customer during a potentially difficult or frustrating time
- Drive service efficiency and improvement project initiatives through the field service team
- Ensure all repairs on equipment completed by Field Service Fitter Mechanics on site follows trade practice and Silver Service standards, ensuring safety at all times

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Trade qualified in a related discipline
- Extensive experience in a similar management role managing employees servicing equipment
- Proven ability to implement and maintain a safety-first culture
- People management and development skills
- Proven ability to self-manage time and workload according to deadline
- Mechanical aptitude
