Disability Support Worker/ Mentor

Since forming in 2019, we’ve grown from a team of 2 on the Gold Coast in Queensland to many, and we are in the process of expanding our services in Newcastle. We are a disability support company, helping people living with disabilities through providing mentoring, group and respite services. As a team we are strongly driven to help others and offer personalised services centred around pushing boundaries, building hobbies and routine, and encouraging adventure.

**About the Opportunity**

We are currently hiring an experienced support worker/mentor to join our team. This role involves 5-10 hours per week, across 2-3 weekdays, with occasional additional shifts available.

Positions are casual roles offering a competitive starting weekday rate ranging from $31.76 to $40.43 p/h (+ super), depending on experience.

As a mentor, you will be supporting our clients with daily living and community access. We provide support in a variety of settings covering a broad range of needs and we work to ensure we match you, your interests, availability and skillset to the right person.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencing work
- Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current, non-restricted open drivers license or non-restricted provisional license
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Strong verbal communication skills
