**The Opportunity**

**We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to assist in setting up and ongoing support of our new multidisciplinary Concussion Outpatients Unit at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital**Our receptionist staff are pivotal to the success of our consulting suites and the positive experience for our patients. This position will suit someone who is looking for a diverse role and an opportunity to showcase their outstanding organisational skills, customer service and communication skills.

Additionally, you will have the chance to make meaningful connections within the healthcare community, contribute to the growth of our practice, and play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for both our patients and team members.
- Your key responsibilities will include:_
- Assist in setting up administrative processes and systems for this new clinic.
- Ensuring clients have a positive experience with our practice from their very first phone call. This includes warmly greeting clients, efficiently handling inquiries, and providing necessary information with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handling patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, and processing accounts. You'll play a critical role in managing the scheduling system, ensuring appointments are seamlessly coordinated.
- Additionally, your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining organised records and processing accounts efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of the suites.

- You will also demonstrate:_
- Experience and knowledge of multiple patient management systems and software such as Blue Chip, Medical Director and Nookal
- Previous experience in a Medical Practice.
- Understanding of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), Work Cover, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) invoicing.

**Remuneration**

On offer is base hourly rate of **$32.30** + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
