Medical Imaging Receptionist and Bookings Officer

Medical Receptionist/Assistant- Immediate start in a healthcare organisation based primarily at Macquarie University (North Ryde)- Appointment type: Full-time, ongoing (2 positions available)- Salary Package: $62,414 - $64,010 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits with Maxxia to maximise your take-home pay.

The Role

MQ Health is looking for two motivated individuals to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment as a Medical Imaging Receptionist & Bookings Officer and a Medical Imaging Practice Receptionist.

The applicant will need to be able from 7 AM -7 PM Monday to Friday. The full-time 38-hour work week will be completed over 5 days.

Key Accountabilities include:
- Answering high-volume of incoming phone calls- Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries from patients, medical professionals, and their offices.- Efficient management of patient appointments and procedures in line with medical imaging requirements- Ensuring accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system-
- Preserving confidentiality and privacy of all patient information and records- Communicating and liaising with other administrative and health staff across clinics, hospitals and within MQ Health

About You

You will be a caring individual with great communication skills and a commitment to providing a patient-centred approach. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Previous working experience in a clinical setting performing reception duties and booking appointments over the phone with patients will be highly regarded.

Desirable- Previous customer service experience in a Healthcare setting (e.g. medical imaging, anatomy, medical receptionist)- Knowledge of electronic medical records such as RIS/Comrad
