**Duties and responsibilities**
As our organization continues to grow and expand, a potential opportunity has now become available in Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for some of the key day to day duties and responsibilities which will typically include, but not be limited to:
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Contacting potential alliances to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Building and establishing new relationships with an intent to increase enquiries and generate leads through business development activities including network meetings, attending conferences, industry expos and community events
- Performing ongoing competitive analysis and sharing feedback with the leadership team on innovative value propositions and offerings
- Develop and build key relationships with funding bodies, other providers and community-based groups
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach on all working practices and business development initiatives
- Contribute to quality and continuous business improvement.
- Display visual leadership
- Promote positive family and community relationships.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by implementing and adhering to all Top Care Lifestyles WHS policies and procedures.
**Essential Criteria**
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Qualification in Sales, Social Work, Marketing, Disability or a related field.
- A minimum one (1) year experience in sales and Marketing.
- Sound knowledge of Disability Services Sector.
- Sound understanding of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to the design and delivery of programs for individuals with disabilities.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the NDIS.
- Demonstrated capability to operate and think strategically displaying strong business acumen and a high level of initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, research and analysis, and the ability to convey information, in a variety of approaches, to a broad audience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple accountabilities and a record of successfully managing competing priorities under pressure and within tight timeframes.
- Demonstrated a high level of communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people and build professional relationships that add value to Top Care Lifestyles’ Mission.
- Demonstrated superior skills in collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders
- High-level knowledge and understanding of the policy, procedures and standards pertaining to the provision of disability services
- Ability to think innovatively, affect change and shape positive workplace culture
- Knowledge of WH&S principles and the ability to promote them in the workplace
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current and verified Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check

**Contract is for 6 months, and could be renewed upon target achievement/s.**

Pay: $38.00 per hour
