Our client is a very well established international freight forwarder with a solid network of company owned offices and agency partners in over 30 countries worldwide. They provide tailored solutions to their varied clients' needs to include air and ocean freight forwarding and contract logistics.Due to growth within the business, an opportunity has arisen within their Melbourne branch for an experienced Import Sea Freight Officer to join this friendly and supportive department in a full-time capacity.

A typical day will see you registering jobs, cargo automation, invoicing all while ensuring all information is recorded accurately in Cargowise.

This is a great opportunity for a friendly, experienced Import Operator who is looking for a long term, stable career opportunity with a business who can offer flexibility over the coming years.

**Please note**:

- This is a permanent position with hybrid work options
- This position requires recent hands on import ocean freight experience gained specifically within an international freight forwarding environment.
- Working knowledge of Cargowise is essential
