This highly successful business provides international freight forwarding, customs clearance, container unpacking, and national transport/distribution services to a diverse client base of importers, exporters, retail and wholesalers

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Perishable Sea Freight Officer to join the team.

Managing your own clients/jobs from start to finish, this position will see you liaising with clients to discuss their requirements. You will book space with shipping lines and co-loaders, prepare and raise all required documentation, track cargo movements and trouble shoot along the way.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong forwarding background who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have recent experience gained specifically within the international freight forwarding industry handling export and or import ocean freight, with experience and a genuine interest and passion with perishables.

The role can either be located within Melbourne's CBD or the northern suburbs with the option to work from home 2-3 days a week.
