Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Property Service Officer **to support ongoing property projects and provide business support services in the Canberra region.

**About the role**:

- Provide a high level of client service to departmental staff for property and facilities related services
- Monitor the quality of service delivery and develop a productive working relationships
- Support the development of the overall reporting requirements, briefings and budgets
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services
- Draft and implement project plans and oversee stakeholder engagement strategies
- Provide technical and specialist advice and coordination for each project

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrated analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to manage or resolve situations requiring sensitivity to individual and/or workgroup concerns
- Ability to operate under limited direction, with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability
- Ability to lead, coach, and support staff

**An understanding of the following is desirable (but not required)**:

- The structure and business operations of the department, including strategic objectives, priorities and risks
- The Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013
- The Commonwealth Property Management Framework
- Legislation and industry standards relating to property, particularly the Building Codes of Australia.
