About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team for a 12-month fixed term opportunity. This role is responsible for looking after our critical call centres and South Australian based offices. In this role you’ll manage the buildings, assets, and security, while fostering internal and external stakeholder relationships. No two days will look the same as you are responsible for a variety of property related outcomes. You will be responsible for managing the administration team and aid them in ensuring our offices run safely and effectively.
What you’ll do
**As a Property Manager you will**:
- Ensure the uninterrupted operations of critical call centres which run 24/7.
- Ensure the best functioning of BMS, HVAC, Back-up power, Fire & Security Systems.
- Manage and fully understand the security requirements at each site and monitor functioning to ensure processes are in line with policies.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team and WHS to provide a safe and secure office environment which is line with our ISO standards.
- Manage the performance of, and relationships with the landlord, contractors, and suppliers.
- Be responsible for representing Group Property in internal property related projects at your sites to ensure all security, safety and compliance related requirements are covered.
- Managing OPEX and work within budget.
- Action invoice payments and manage accounts to ensure invoices are paid in time.
- Head up the administration team who are responsible for coordinating the properties, office, and the reception desk.
- Communicate with internal customers and build cross-departmental relationships
What you’ll bring
- Ability to obtain NV1 security clearance
- At least 2 years people and property management experience
- Solution focussed thinking whilst adhering to policy and procedure
- Sound understanding of BMS, HVAC, Back-up power, Fire & Security Systems
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Effective customer service and relationship building skills
- Computer literacy, as you will be using Microsoft Office suite, NetSuite, OpenAir, Security and CCTV Systems.
- Effective prioritization, and problem solving while time managing a variety of tasks
- Experience with managing security, building compliance, and asset management is an advantage
