**THE ROLE**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Review of new business proposals and provide advice on issues. Report on the status of each request.
- Defining the project approach and preparation of project plans (including scope, schedule, quality, risk and communication plans).
- Tracking activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
- Identifying a range of possible solution options. Undertaking a short-list of options and feasibility assessment.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to get the information required and prepare business cases, including cost/benefit, impact, and risk analysis for each option.
- Identifying and describing the user experience design goals for systems, products, services, and devices.
- Designing, verifying, documenting, amending, and refactoring complex software configurations for deployment.
- Facilitating the input from stakeholders, providing constructive challenge, and enabling effective prioritisation of requirements.
- Identifying and describing the design goals for systems, products, services, and devices.
- Acting as the routine contact point between the organisation and suppliers. Supporting resolution of supplier-related incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance. Collecting and reporting on supplier performance data.

You will need to be collaborative and adaptable to change with strong stakeholder engagement and ability to jump right in

You will also demonstrate:

- 5 years’ experience in IT leadership or change positions
- Experience with IT and System related projects
- Proven expertise with managing demand in consideration of strategic, operational and change management processes
- Ability to facilitate stakeholders and prepare project plans
- Experience undertaking short-listing of options and feasibility assessment
- Proven expertise with user experience design for systems, products, services and devices
- Experience conducting readiness assessments to assess the size, nature and impact of organisational change
- Proven expertise with acting as the contact point between Origin and suppliers
- Energy/utilities/resources industry experience will be desirable
