**About the role**

We are actively hiring for a Procurement and Facilities Manager to work in a National role supporting the needs of the Buildsafe head offices and branches. This role is situated in our Queensland head office, based in Arundel. The core focus of this role surrounds the management of the Group Domestic Purchasing team, you will also manage the Leasing support and Insurance functions of the business and the Repairs and Maintenance needs of the Buildsafe group.

**Here's an overview of what you'll be doing**
- Continuously analyse and re-evaluate supplier agreements (price, quality and delivery speed)
- Domestic vendor management
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
- An oversight of project work and continuous improvement processes.
- Support the wider business as required in conjunction with the key team members of the Department in relation to supply, costings, legislative changes, business exceptions, critical issues etc.
- Assist with various Finance functions, in particular functions of the Accounts Payable team around purchase orders and bill approvals

- Recent extensive experience working in a leadership role within Facilities and Procurement
- Experience working in a blue collar environment Exceptional ability to build relationships and rapport
- Able to liaise with key stakeholders - internal and external
- Effective people leadership skills with a high level of integrity
- Innovative and solution focused with the ability to multi task and prioritise
- Influential and professional communication and interpersonal skills
