In this newly created position as a Procurement Sourcing Specialist (Medical Equipment), you will be responsible for the implementation of our national sourcing strategies for medical equipment. There will be a particular emphasis on tendering and implementing documentation and processes within this role.
**Your day-to-day accountabilities will include**:
- Plan and manage I-MED's overall sourcing strategy for Medical Equipment
- Regularly conduct research and analysis to understand company operational needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and key suppliers
- Responsible for the negotiation of pricing and control costs
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for improvement of overall sourcing strategy

To be successful in this role
You will have previous experience within a similar role, with a strong grasp of the tender process. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders. You will have exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to identify gaps ensuring a focus on quality is met.
