In your new role as Procurement Officer, you will support the implementation of national procurement strategies focused on cost reduction/quality maintenance across the I-MED Network.
Your role will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes and annual targets. You will have a strong analytical mind with a high level of attention to detail and ideally previous experience in managing preferred supplier arrangements and contract negotiation in order to support, and work closely with other Procurement team members.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Contribute to the planning and development of the procurement strategy and annual targets and objectives for I-MED
- Continually look for better, simpler ways to deliver real benefits to stakeholders and suppliers
- Source and analyse business data from I-MED and external suppliers as required to determine procurement opportunities, priorities, and targets
- Manage the regular review and analysis of supplier performance, including adherence to contractual terms and conditions
- Contribute to the preferred suppliers contract database and related information on potential suppliers
- Develop an excellent understanding of how the business units' function and use this knowledge to maximise Procurement's ability to add value to the business

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Competent problem solving and issue resolutions skills, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated strength and success in stakeholder management (internal and external)
- A strong customer service focus and relationships management ability
- Highly effective communication skills, including oral, written and presentations
- Advanced skills in use of IT systems, including Excel
