**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement & Supply Chain team based predominantly at our Mount Waverley office.

Reporting to Senior Procurement Specialist, the purpose of this role is to ensure that Procurement delivers the best value to key stakeholders and maintain high level of service. The role requires a strong customer-focused culture that influences a positive business partnering approach.

This role can influence and shape outcomes. This role will assist in establishing foundational capability and build function credibility with stakeholders. The Procurement Specialist will assist in the sourcing function across a portfolio of categories, predominantly within the Marketing Category.

**What your day to day looks like**:

- Develop an understanding of the business environment in which TTI operates, understands its goals and how Procurement activities help achieve organisational outcomes
- Assist in tactical sourcing of Marketing related Point of Sale, store activations, sponsorships, memberships, events, and around the offices’ requirements. Experience in Marketing is preferred but not essential.
- Ensure the business has timely supply of goods and services by sourcing a variety of items as required and provide support on all aspects of procurement activities that may be required to support the wider team
- Track and report on orders and pricing and assist with month end reporting
- Assist in the proactive management of supplier performance scorecards, collaborating across the business
- Engage and influence negotiations with vendors and customers to deliver positive, sustainable relationships through a business partnering approach.

**About You**

Ideally you will have a proven background in a similar Procurement role and the following skills/attributes:

- Proven experience working in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation
- Work experience and knowledge of general procurement services and practices across marketing categories will be highly regarded
- Sound communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, vendors, and clients alike
- The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and accurately manage multiple projects
- Exhibit relationship management and conflict management capabilities to guide the company-vendor relationship
- Proven ability in managing and prioritizing multiple projects with competing timelines
- SAP experience is preferred, intermediate Microsoft Office required.
- Team player and positive approach
