**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Communication and Engagement Manager to lead Communication and engagement planning and delivery.

**What will you be doing**
- During delivery of assigned projects, build trusted relationships with community members and stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations, identify and work to minimise project impacts on them as much as possible, and ensure they receive useful, accurate, timely and engaging project communications materials.
- Work closely with the delivery team to understand projects, identify potential stakeholder and community impacts and work to mitigate these as much as possible
- Day to day management of stakeholder and community issues, ensuring these are resolved and closed out within agreed timeframes, or escalated as appropriate

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in communication strategy, stakeholder and community engagement, project communication, digital engagement, issues and reputation management
- Experience on various clients and/ or projects in the major projects, transport, defence, infrastructure or government sectors
- Strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and team members for successful client outcomes
- Attention to detail and strong writing abilities
- Strong understanding of best practice communication strategies and techniques
- Understanding of how to work with local and state governments
- Ability to gain the confidence and trust of our clients
- University degree in communication or a related area is a mandatory requirement of this role
- IAP2 certification accreditation would be highly desired
