As we expand our operations and services, we are seeking a skilled **Accountant (CPA)** to join our dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and manage accurate financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights to management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with tax preparation, including BAS, GST, and PAYG submissions.
- Oversee financial audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software.
- Provide advice on cost-saving measures and financial strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

**Key Requirements**:

- Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the care and support services sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis as required.
