RAS Accounting & Taxation Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Holden Hill, South Australia office. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting services to our diverse range of clients. What we're looking for

  • Assist clients in formulating effective budgetary and financial policies to meet their organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present tailored financial statements for client boards, management, shareholders, and statutory compliance purposes.
  • Conduct financial audits and investigations for clients to assess business performance, identify risks, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters such as mergers, acquisitions, capital financing, and restructuring.
  • Analyse clients' operational costs and income streams to identify areas for financial optimization and cost control.
  • Prepare accurate and compliant financial reports and ensure they meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Offer tax planning advice and prepare comprehensive taxation returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Advise clients on selecting and implementing accounting systems, including computer-based solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Establish and maintain internal control systems for clients to safeguard financial data and enhance accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clients and financial institutions to develop efficient funds management strategies.
  • Appraise cash flow and financial risks associated with clients' capital investments or major projects.
  • Provide ongoing financial and tax advisory services to help clients navigate regulatory changes and improve business performance.
  • Support clients in managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Assist clients in preparing for audits or reviews by regulatory bodies, providing detailed guidance and documentation.
  • Educate and empower clients with financial insights and tools to achieve their business objectives efficiently.
