**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced hospitality and customer service professional who has a passion for creating unforgettable experiences whilst delivering a high standard of customer service to our guests. As the Guest Experience Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Guest Experience team for the resort and be accountable for the achievement of the resort's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the Guest Experience team, in conjunction with the Rooms Division Manager, to ensure a high level of professional customer service is maintained
- Create a positive first (and lasting) impression for our customers through the check in process and throughout their stay including assisting with local enquiries, tour bookings and encouraging return bookings
- Perform daily customer service tasks including serving guests at the front counter or over the phone and maintaining entries in the RMS booking system
- Complete fortnightly rosters and approve teams' timesheets
- Flexible attitude to hours, including weekends and on short notice
- A current valid driver’s license is essential.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Previous hospitality/tourism experience in a supervisor or management position
- Strong team leadership skills
- Mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience using RMS or a similar reservation management system
- Manual (C-class) license
