Working closely with the team, you'll serve as a point of escalation for Assurance Analysts, reporting directly to the Senior Assurance Manager. **Ways of Working**

Ideally, our preference is for someone to be situated at our headquarters on the Sunshine Coast. Nevertheless, we are open to the possibility of having someone based at our Fortitude Valley office. We operate with a hybrid approach, requiring office presence from Tuesday to Thursday at both locations, while offering the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Key priorities:

- Supporting the development and delivery of the second-line assurance plan, including assisting the Senior Assurance Manager.
- Reviewing controls assessments completed by Assurance Analysts for accuracy and consistency.
- Completing controls assessments in alignment with the assurance plan.
- Taking ownership for the end-to-end assurance review process from design and scope through to delivery and reporting.
- Identifying opportunities and weaknesses in Youi's control environment, recommending improvements, as necessary.
- Assisting the Senior Assurance Manager in managing, maintaining, and enhancing the Combined Assurance Framework and relevant testing methodologies.
- Leading stakeholder meetings to discuss Assurance results and reports.
- Providing business insights to support decision-making.
- Providing insightful reporting and data analysis.

**About You**

You will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business or a related field.
- Preferably, additional qualifications such as: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Alternatively, demonstrated experience in Assurance roles (3+ years is a general indicator).
- Previous experience in financial services (highly regarded but not essential).
- Prior experience in Internal Audit is preferred.
- A comprehensive understanding of internal control and assurance principles is essential.
- Thorough understanding of operational processes, including risks and controls, and their implications for business.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent data presentation skills, including experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Understanding of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and automation tools as applied in the field of audit / assurance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in time management, multitasking, and project handling.
- Demonstrated autonomy with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively for timely completion.
- Strong attention to detail alongside refined analytical skills.
- The ability to effectively lead and influence key stakeholders.
