Our diligent and hard-working Customer Operations is growing, and is seeking an experienced Operations Officer to come on board on a 6 month secondment. You’ll be working within a supportive and dynamic team delivering innovative financial lending products which are at the forefront of digital banking in Australia.

You’ll be supporting ING Customers & Third party Brokers in Residential and Commercial mortgages, variations, credit administration activities to name a few. With a key focus on carrying out clerical activities, data processing, customer validation and reporting, you will need to be analytical but also a customer-focused individual to provide the best service.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Upholding ING’s service delivery guidelines ensuring that all Customer operation processing is complete and processed within the agreed timeframes as well as quality requirements
- Completing Variation requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
- Providing outstanding customer service to ING Customers, Brokers, internal & external stakeholders (especially with enquiries)
- Consistently meeting SLAs and internal KPIs to achieve operational excellence in mortgages, variations, settlements, savings, daily Banking, processing, reconciliations or payments
- Complying with all ING policies and procedures (especially ING’s Know Your Customer [KYC], fraud prevention, regulatory compliance and risk) to avoid unacceptable operational risk

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- 3-5 years recent clerical and customer service experience preferably in the banking sector
- Excellent customer service and delivery skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and basic numeracy/data analysis skills
- Effective coordination and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to confidently liaise with all stakeholders
