**About Our Client**:
As one of the world's leading grains research organisations, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) plays an integral role in driving research outcomes and innovations that directly benefit Australia's grain industry. GRDC's purpose is to invest in research, development and extension (RD&E) to create enduring profitability for Australian grain growers.

We are seeking a highly motivated person to generate valuable insights critical in shaping grains RD&E investment priorities. You will work closely with other departments and industry stakeholders to champion the use of insights in grains RD&E investment planning and decision-making processes.
- Provide leadership in the collection, interpretation and understanding of industry intelligence in the context of what it means for investment in grains RD&E.
- Develop and implement research strategies to ensure GRDC has access to the data and information required to develop and interpret trends and drivers, inform assumptions, and help make investment trade-offs.
- Produce reports, summaries and presentations that are tailored to need and audience, to communicate key messages.
- Manage the Market and Grower Insights portfolio including project management and leading, supporting and monitoring team performance.
- Contribute to the leadership, management and development of operational and business unit planning, priority setting and relationships with key stakeholders.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- A comprehensive understanding of the grains industry, markets, and growers
- Demonstrated experience in market research, insights, data analysis, or related field (5+ years' desirable)
- Proven track record of using data to inform business strategy and drive growth.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
- Proven ability to synthesise information, translating data and insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence, motivate and develop others.
- Highly developed presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise work effectively.
- Proficiency in use of databases, statistical software, and Business Intelligence tools to mine data and reach valuable conclusions.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Must be prepared to travel as and when required.
- Must have a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks.
- Must be an Australian Citizen
