Ict Operations Officer

Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) ICT is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic person to join the Contracts, Assets and Licensing team.
**What you will do**:
- Assist in asset life cycle management, including the provisioning, refreshing and decommissioning of physical ICT assets. This also includes but is not limited to providing advice for asset and hardware requests to CIT, assisting in auditing activities and updating asset records.
- Monitoring and actioning requests/tickets in the case management system.
- Work as a team member to ensure that the quality of service delivered to clients meets or exceeds expectations, as well as liaising with both internal clients and external suppliers to ensure services are provided to a high standard.
- This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.
**Your typical day will consist of**:
- Travelling to CIT campuses and other ACT Government buildings frequently to meet operational requirements.
- Engaging with CIT and DDTS stakeholders to coordinate ICT asset and software requests.
- Actively monitor the ITSM system to provide ICT assistance, where required, in a timely fashion.
