**The opportunity**
An exciting opportunity to join QBE as we build out our climate reporting policies and disclosures in line with the upcoming changes to reporting requirements.
**Your new role**
In this role you will:
- Lead the development of the Group's climate-related reporting policies and guidance in accordance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), working closely with key stakeholders across the business, including Finance, Sustainability, Risk, and Underwriting teams.
- Support the preparation of the Group's climate-related financial disclosures in the Annual Report and develop pro forma disclosures that comply with ASRS.
- Develop and present training on current and future climate-related financial disclosure standards.
**About you**
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge - AGAAP/IFRS with a focus on standards relevant to QBE's business.
- Strong project management and planning capabilities to coordinate the review of climate reporting policies and disclosures.
- Proven experience of dealing with people at all levels in the organisation, strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence within a global team.
