With a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn, you thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills. Your ability to build meaningful relationships and support both members and the wider team makes you a key asset in fostering a vibrant community. - The main duties of the role include but are not limited to the below:_ **Key Responsibilities** **Community Engagement & Member Experience** - Greet members and guests from the front desk, consistently delivering excellent customer service. - Anticipate member needs to enhance their experience. - Facilitate introductions, collaborations, and engagement through relationship-building initiatives. - Understand our members and how we can support their businesses. - Manage the onboarding process, including tours, inductions, and welcome packs. - Address member-related issues or escalate to the Community Manager when necessary. - Notify the Community Manager of any potential membership changes. **Events Management** - Assist in creating and distributing promotional materials for weekly events. - Support event setup and pack-down as required. - Help prepare for community events such as member breakfasts and Friday night drinks. - Take ownership of events to ensure an outstanding member experience. - Actively participate in community and member events. **Operations & Facilities Management** - Support daily scheduling and operational tasks as directed by the Community Manager. - On-board and off-board members and companies within the space. - Maintain accurate databases of members, companies, contractors, and suppliers. - Ensure the accuracy of the Member/Doggo Directory. - Assist with IT ticket management and provide basic troubleshooting support. - Send out notifications for events and reminders within your location. - Ensure offices and desks are clean and ready for new members. - Deliver incoming mail to members promptly. - Ensure the workspace is well presented and fully operational. - Report maintenance issues and assist in their resolution. - Conduct regular building checks and maintain cleanliness. - Monitor stock levels and order consumables as needed. - Oversee storage area audits and cleanliness. - Coordinate with cleaning staff to maintain high standards. - Conduct weekly fridge and pantry cleans. **Required Skills & Experience** - 2+ Years customer service experience. - Exceptional verbal & written communication skills. - Build & maintain rapport with others. - Initiate contact easily, especially when engaging with new people. - Prior experience with administration and/or operations. - Strong initiative and problem-solving skills. - Adaptability and a willingness to learn. - Proven ability to navigate change effectively. - Experience with G-Suite, Canva, and Slack. **Benefits of working at The Commons** - Collins Street Head Office - Free counselling sessions - Birthday leave - Quarterly team dinners & generous awards - Ability to work across different locations - Birthday & anniversary gifts - State social committees with monthly events ranging from pub drinks, picnics, bowling, movie screenings and beyond - Weekly “Saturday Sweat” group exercise event - Weekly events program e.g. breakfast club, yoga & drinks - Additional paid maternity leave - Exclusive annual Halloween party - Work travel opportunities - Further education program to support personal and professional development **Values** All actions and behaviours must align with the company’s core values: - Putting people first - Fostering a strong workplace culture - Collaborating as a team - Continuously learning and evolving
