**The Role**:
**What’s the role?**
This role forms part of the Shell QGC upstream leadership team charged with the management of the overall production performance for all our upstream assets, with an overall accountability for the production chemistry support.
As the Production Support Manager, you will ensure the asset utilises best available fit-for-purpose technology, is compliant with industry, regulatory and company standards, minimises environmental emissions and is capable of sustained operation in line with the asset operational targets.
The scope covers Wells Reservoir and Facilities Management (WRFM) process ownership and deployment, Asset Integrated Collaborative environment (ICE), Production Chemistry, Production reporting, Well integrity, asset metering and measurements, production allocation, production forecasting short and medium term.
You will also champion the Goal Zero - no harm & no leaks - firm commitment to safety and environmental performance and demonstrate a personal commitment and leadership to deliver a culture where no one gets hurt and where asset integrity and process safety management is paramount.
**What we need from you**
The Production Support Manager is a true integrator who needs to have strong interpersonal and facilitation skills for effective relationship-building, coaching, team working and team building.
To be successful, you will need a proven ability to form collaborative relationships through effective communication and a demonstrated ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders.
In addition, you should also have:
- Chartered Professional Engineer (Process or Chemical Engineering or equivalent preferred) with extensive industry experience
- Thorough knowledge of production optimisation and operational practices.
- Previous exposure to upstream and LNG operation is preferred
- Demonstrated strong leadership capability
- Problem solving, change management and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, and a proven track record in supporting this agenda
