**The opportunity**

As a PMO consultant, you will be supporting the Project, Program, Portfolio, or PMO Manager to deliver or to manage the portfolio/program/project office through activities such as co-ordination, planning, control, reporting, analysis, as well as supporting the PMO Manager in the delivery of PMO initiatives.

Your key responsibilities as a MetaPM PMO consultant will include;
- Create, manage, and maintain project schedule/s, providing input into demand and capacity management (including workforce management planning).
- Financial tracking and reporting.
- Provide practical advice, guidance, and quality assurance across all projects within the program, ensuring that the project management methodology is adhered to.
- Document and progress Risks, Issues and Action Items.
- Support the project managers in delivering projects using the client’s in-house project management tools following industry defined methodologies.
- Provide administrative and project coordination support such as deliverable management, communication support, and project management tooling support.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings.
- Prepare and update various project documents.
- Resource management support including on/off boarding, resource tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor project/program performance and communicate status to different stakeholders as required.
- Create and maintain management dashboards and executive summaries.

**About You**
- Detailed knowledge and experience developing and maintaining a Project Schedule.
- Experience with Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft Project Client & the Microsoft Office products
- Experience in risk identification and assessment.
- Demonstrable experience of working with staff up to senior management level, comfortable with conducting presentations and running meetings
- Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness, and commitment to quality/accountability of own output
- Knowledge of and experience with different Change Management and Delivery methods and associated controls across the project lifecycle (e.g., MoP, MSP, PRINCE2, Managing Benefits etc.)
- High standard of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills and communication demonstrated through your ability to quickly build rapport, establish credibility, and professionally navigate challenging stakeholder interactions.
- Consulting experience, either with a professional services business or internal consulting as part of your role, will be looked upon favourably.
- Previous experience working within a PMO, working to industry recognised methodologies such as PMBOK/Prince2 will also be looked upon favourably
