**The Role**
The position is required to provide high level executive support inclusive of business, finance, logistics, administration, contract and staff management. To work with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Arts for Resilience, Recovery, Teamwork and Skills (ADF ARRTS) team to achieve the two key annual programs in May/June and Oct/Nov, and manage:

- Information requests from stakeholders (internal and external to ADF participants, team members and contractors).
- Oversee ARRTS Public relations - advertising, marketing and liaison with Joint Public Affairs Unit (JPAU).
- Coordination of the Head of ADF ARRTS diary with high level defence executive and executive stakeholders.
- Develop and assist with coordinating travel, team meetings, and written briefs.
- Ensure the ARRTS team meets assigned/prescribed time frames.
- The development and management of the ARRTS business plan, along with exploring new opportunities for ADF ARRTS.

The successful applicant needs to be self-motivated, positive in nature, flexible in approach and capable of effective liaison with a diverse population; must display sound judgment and have a demonstrated ability to exercise diplomacy, sensitivity and discretion.

**About our Team**
The Australian Defence Force Arts for Resilience, Recovery, Teamwork and Skills (ADF ARRTS) program team is a dynamic group of staff who collectively support the use of creative engagement to improve the confidence and wellbeing of ADF, the ACT Emergency Services (ESA) Agency, Australian Federal Police (AFP) personnel who are wounded, ill or injured as a result of their service.

It consists of creative and health specialists, administrative staff, both contractors and ADF staff, who support an outstanding twice yearly program. The program has proven successful health and wellbeing outcomes to enhance the recovery, return to work or transition from the individual members service environment. It aligns with the ADF wellbeing programs and is a deliverable that accords with The Royal Commission into Defence and Veterans Suicide.

- Willing to perform lower level tasks as required to ensure the ADF ARRTS team succeeds in achieving successful programs.
