**The Role**
This role within the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) Active Electronic Scanned Array Systems Program Office (AESA SPO) offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of the International acquisition program and to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships that are vital to the successful delivery of AESA capabilities.

The EL1 International Program Manager is required to exercise a significant degree of independence and perform an important leadership role, responsible for influencing and developing strategies, managing competing priorities and operational practices in support of Defence objectives based on high level decision making and judgement. Further, this position is responsible for the successful delivery of the international AESA acquisition program via Industry contracts and Government to Government arrangements between the United States and Australia.

As the EL1 International Program Manager you will be responsible for providing strategic advice supporting the Director and Deputy Director, leading a small team, managing resource dependencies, delivering outcomes, and building and sustaining relationships with high level stakeholders including International Government representatives.

The AESA SPO is part of the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) Branch, within the Department of Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).Charged with the responsibility of acquiring and sustaining a broad range of electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems in both tactical and strategic domains, the EWIS Branch provides its team with a wide range of exciting career opportunities.

Within the EWIS Branch, the AESA SPO manages engagements between the Department of Defence and CEA Technologies - a supplier of world-leading radar technologies that are designed, developed and manufactured in Australia.
