Gertrude Abbott Aged Care and The Sister Anne Court are our 168-bed homes co-located in Surry Hills offering exceptional care to all our residents. We offer a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated with compassion and respect.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will develop and implement specialised activity programmes and social activities to promote the psychological, social and physical wellbeing of our residents in addition to managing, leading and overseeing a team of lifestyle officers.

To be successful for the role you will have:

- Ability to engage with residents and staff effectively
- **_ Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure - mandatory_**:

- Extensive demonstrated experience leading and managing diverse teams
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge in how to support people living with dementia
- Current experience working within an aged care setting and or for a provider
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy and able to complete documentation and reports
- Be highly organised - both people and process
- Empathy for the elderly and those living with disabilities
- Able to provide proof of Covid19 Immunisation
