Finance Analyst

**About the role**

We are looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our cohesive and collaborative team within Dulux. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be providing ongoing support, advise, and reporting to senior-level management around the operation of their various parts of the business.

You are a go-getter and confident professional with extensive experience in finance with an ability to proactively contribute to all financial aspects of the business’s short
- and long-term goals.

This is an exciting role where you get an opportunity to handle a larger gamut of finance with a full commercial P&L responsibility. You will get exposure to different facets of manufacturing, warehousing, and corporate business operations with oversight of market drivers and trends.

**No two days are the same, but on a typical day you might find yourself;**
- Budgeting and forecast modelling
- Providing advice, answering questions, and influencing finance-related decisions
- Problem solving and utilising your knowledge of marketing principles
- Conducting financial modelling and evaluation
- Providing relevant and useful financial measures into key business activities
- Ensuring financial and business processes are consistent with internal control policies
- Ensuring financial integrity of data, both produced within the business and by the shared service
- Providing general accounting functions in line with business requirements

**Skills & Experience**

With a minimum of 3 years of management or Financial Accounting experience, you will already have a good foundation of understanding and experience preferably within a business environment. You will have the desire to continually learn and grow while learning about various aspects of the business from the ground up.
- An Accounting degree and either have already completed or currently be completing CPA/CA certification.
- The drive to continuously improve and proactively look for new opportunities to do things better
- Strong business acumen
- Confidence interacting with people of all technical abilities and levels within the organisation
- A passion for engaging with a hands-on approach
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry
