**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our **Westall** team in **Clayton South **as a **Sales Analyst**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of steel and aluminium product, processing and service solutions. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

BlueScope Distribution are at the beginning of their data analysis journey and as a valued member of our Sales Effectiveness team, you’ll take the lead on BlueScope Distribution’s data analysis, including identifying and developing sales and business analysis and reporting opportunities.

**What Will You Do?**

Working collaboratively across a variety of business functions like sales, marketing and innovation, finance and with our leaders, you will:

- play a key role in our digital transformation program as we aspire to data being a key strategic organisational asset
- provide valuable insight to the sales team through data visual management
- produce and communicate relevant sales reports, dashboards and insights to enhance forecasting activities, identify strategic segments and assist cross-functional teams
- develop key performance tools, measures and reporting capability to help ensure delivery of key team objectives
- support and streamline internal business processes
- stay up to date with new technology and best practice

You will be focused on delivering identified improvement opportunities and insights that will result in the best customer outcomes. Your sales analysis knowledge will add value from day one by bringing:

- relevant sales and data analytics experience in a B2B environment
- exceptional analytical and report writing skills
- proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools especially Excel
- report creation capability in data visualisation tools, preferably Power BI
- an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage competing priorities
- effective communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- an inquisitive nature to learn our business and customers
