Pine Rivers Special School is a state school catering for students form Prep to Year 12 who have been verified as having a significant Intellectual Disability qualifying them for the highest level of support offered by Education Queensland.
Many students also have a second disability area identified and verified, which adds to the complexity of their learning needs.
Within a safe and supportive environment, the students of Pine Rivers Special School will be assisted in the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to participate successfully in their home, school and community lives.
Teachers are highly committed to improving their pedagogical practices to maximise learning outcomes for all students.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
