**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Head of Finance & External Reporting you will be a Functional Subject Matter Expert for the implementation of the BlackLine solution.

You will successfully lead the relevant project activities as the SME/functional process owner within the Banking & Reconciliations team. This includes coordination and completion of project activities within the area of responsibility such as developing new business rules and processes, testing and ensuring the team is prepared and equipped for the system and process changes.

You will supervise BlackLine implementation related activities within the team. Motivate and lead the Assistant Accounting team to deliver a high-quality banking and reconciliations solution.

Your primary focus will include:

- Provide functional expertise for the implementation of BlackLine system for Banking and Reconciliation processes. Includes identification and resolution of balance sheet reporting risks within the project. Ensure the allocated project deliverables and timelines are met.
- Recommend and implement business/process simplification initiatives related to the BlackLine implementation, identify areas of financial control weakness, and recommend improvements.
- Lead the team through the system and process changes resulting from the BlackLine implementation
- Establish positive rapport with internal and external stakeholders by providing accurate and timely information and advice to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure high contribution from each team member.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Bachelor of Business or Accounting plus membership of CA or CPA.
- 5 years post graduate experience in accounting role
- BlackLine functional administration experience
- Team leadership experience
- Sound understanding of accounting, finance, and treasury practices
- Experience in finance, accounting or banking support function preferable
- Understanding of audit/control procedures appropriate for banking functions
