**Location**: Melbourne | Sydney

**The Role**:
Tridant is seeking a** Consultant** to fill a full-time role within our **Financial Close Management** practice of the Performance Management team. Working with our customers to adopt solutions from two of our technology partners**:BlackLine’s** Accounting Cloud platform for unified, automated, and continuous accounting and **Workiva’s** cloud-based connected and reporting compliance platform.

We understand the importance of work/life balance and have embraced a hybrid work model where work can be undertaken both from home and our modern CBD offices in either **Melbourne or Sydney** - you have the flexibility to choose the days and hours in the office.

To be successful in this role you will need strong communication skills managing internal/external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

**Responsible for**:

- Analysis and evaluation of business requirements through a structured and methodical approach using a combination of project management methodologies.
- Employing proven delivery methodology to achieve project success as agreed with customers; technical, functional and business outcomes of a project.
- Maintaining a high standard of professional communications.

**Accountabilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Interpretation of technical and business requirements to design the data driven solutions and implement these solutions.
- Communicate with stakeholders, business and technical project teams, infrastructure and operational support to ensure the role and responsibilities for the solution delivery and support are understood.
- Alignment of solution with tactical and strategic values and plans within the client organisation.
- Estimate and plan project deliverable and success criteria.
- Identify project Risks and Assumptions.
- Identify all potential change requests and work with designated Consultants/Project Manager on these variations.
- Participate in post implementation review and assume ownership of any actions.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- ** 4 - 8 years’ experience** working either as an **external auditor/consultant** in a professional services firm or in a finance function performing month-end close activities.
- Minimum education level of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business, Finance & Accounting.
- ** CPA/CA qualified**.
- A genuine talent for grasping complex business problems and engineering effective solutions.
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies for the office of finance.
- ** Confidence and ability to present solutions to clients**.
- Professional, but approachable manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Highly Regarded**:

- Skills in BlackLine and/or Workiva will be an advantage.
- Strong relationship management.
- Ability to identify opportunities and taking action to help achieve business goals.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Team player with a pro-active approach.
