The Customer Relations branch purpose is to make a difference for the City and its people. The vision is to anticipate our customers’ needs before they do by putting them at the centre of everything the organisation does. The branch applies its unique understanding of customer and its knowledge of the organisation to deliver a positive and efficient customer care service. The branch partners with the organisation to realise the best customer experience possible.

The Customer Data Administration Officer is part of the Customer Focus team within the Customer Relations branch of the Finance and Corporate Division.

The Customer Data Administration Officer is responsible for improving the level of quality of customer records held in City of Melbourne’s Customer Relationship Management System. This will include simplifying and cleansing records, ensuring accuracy, completeness and currency of the customer data set.

**In addition, the Customer Data Administration Officer will demonstrate**:

- Post-secondary qualifications in business administration or equivalent and/or relevant experience in similar roles.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of general office systems including spreadsheet and database management.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service.
- A level of initiative and independence and the ability to establish own priorities and work with limited direction.
- Excellent communication skills including written, interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with individuals and agencies.
- Ability to identify, raise and document issues and improvements related to the data administration process.

**Desirable**
- High-level computer skills and experience in customer relationship management systems, ideally Salesforce.
