**The Role**
The Commonwealth Property Logistics Officer will work within a maritime integrated logistics environment for NCB. The position provides a great opportunity to deliver shipyard logistics and supplies in support of effective continuous shipbuilding; utilising your expertise, knowledge and skills within a culture of collaboration, integrity and agility.

The Commonwealth Property Logistics Officer will contribute to the NCB Mission through their strong focus on a Maritime Supply Chain approach. The key responsibilities are;
- Perform Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) compliance & assurance activities against all relevant Business Process Monitoring (BPM) controls
- Support codification and cataloging efforts across the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) fleet
- Monitor & manage the supply, storage and redistribution of waterfront stores
- Perform NCB disposal functions in accordance with ADF Policy & Procedures
- Conduct ADF Logistics Information Systems (LOGIS) data validation & remediation activities in support of Naval Projects and Programs
- Support initial order Asset Capitilisation Tool (ACT) activities against ADF LOGIS
- Support the implementation and use of standardised business functions and tools for the Maritime Enterprise
- Assist with the analysis, rectification and design of Maritime Supply Chain (MSC) processes
- Contribute to a safe and secure NCB work environment

**About our Team**
The Naval Construction Branch (NCB) is accountable for the assurance of ship construction, set-to-work and transit of vessels constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard and Henderson precinct. We are headquartered in Osborne, SA and have a detachment in Henderson, WA.

NCB Logistics Directorate is an enthusiastic and thoughtful team, comprising of civilian and military employees who are passionate about supporting the warfighter. The team is made up of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skillsets and experiences, all brought together by their ambition to support the work of the ADF.

NCB is furthering Continuous Naval Shipbuilding and growing sovereign capability by overseeing the construction to ensure quality and standards are met, storing lessons learnt and developing standard shipbuilding procedures for construction. NCB will oversee the construction of many different Navy vessels including Offshore Patrol Vessels, Hunter Class Frigates, Young Endeavour, Mine Hunter Vessels, Evolved Cape Class, Pacific Patrol Boats, and Nuclear-powered submarines.

Working at NCB will enable you to be at the grassroots of Continuous Naval Shipbuilding, where you are part of a working shipyard, being able to see and contribute to the vessels delivered and used in Service by Navy. NCB currently has highly skilled and diverse shipbuilding experience which will be shared to grow your hands on construction knowledge.

You will work alongside Navy Personnel, Internal project management offices and Prime Contractors. The opportunity for technical staff to undertaken industry placement is also available.
