**The opportunity**
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Facilities Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, based at our Osborne Park office.
As part of the Facilities team, you will provide and deliver facilities solutions for the portfolio of offices and clinics across Western Australia. Facilities tasks are inclusive of ad hoc and planned preventative maintenance and security requirements. You will also be responsible for the delivery of minor works and restorative works projects as required. Visits to both local sites and other travel may be required.
**Key responsibilities**
The major accountabilities of this position are:
- Ability to monitor and maintain the work order system to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations across a portfolio of properties
- Liaise with staff, contractors and local government bodies on various facilities management issues
- Work with a range of stakeholders to provide appropriate facilities outcomes
- Ensure all properties comply with relevant service level agreements, Health & safety regulations and Australian Standards
- Undertake site audits relevant to operational activity
- Monitor and approve invoices in accordance with budgeted costs
**About you**
- Experience raising work orders and coordinating works with contractors
- Knowledge of delivering building maintenance and facilities solutions
- The ability to work in a reactive manner to suit the needs of the property portfolio
- Ability to multitask and prioritise works effectively
- Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to research and analyse information
- Highly developed organisational skills
- A proven capability in delivering minor works and restorative works projects.
