**The Role**:
Reporting to the Groups & Charters Manager, the Coach Charter Specialist will be responsible for account management of Domestic and International clients for Coach Charter requests and Tour Series Agents - primarily visiting the Northern Territory - Red Centre and Top End, as well as Sydney.

The role entails end to end booking and execution of Coach Charter and Tour Series Account business with a Systematic approach to processes and operations.

This is a hand=on role where you will get to know the journey of every tour and transfer through the business to understand where value can be added and process may be improved.

This role has 2x vacancies - 1x permanent, full-time and 1x permanent, part-time. Flexible work options available from our vibrant Alexandria office 3 days per week and 2 days work from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Respond to booking requests and client needs in a timely manner, drawing on excellent Australia knowledge to ensure all itineraries are comfortable and appropriate.
- Work with Groups & Charters Manager at quote/tender stage and contract review to ensure successful conversion, meeting contract requirements of client including accurate costings, itinerary content and service levels.
- Act as main point of contact for Coach Charter Agents as well as Tour Series Agents i.e. multiple departure clients and liaise with depots to ensure smooth running of Coach Charter and Tour Series charter work and coach/driver availability.
- Manage the administration of all Supplier bookings and competently load information into Coach booking system.
- Finalise all necessary documentation prior to group departure including driver instructions, supplier purchase orders/vouchers, names/rooming lists and special requests.
- Efficiently process invoices and credits to system and accounts.
- Meet annual groups & charter revenue targets whilst maintaining profit margin.
- Participate in training re product and systems when required and completion of all associated admin and financial booking maintenance.
- Adhere to all company rules, occupational health and safety guidelines, policies, systems, and act as a role model for other staff.
- Pro-actively develop positive and cohesive working relationships with all staff, clients and suppliers at all times.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced customer service environment is essential.
- Account management experience an advantage.
- Experience creating tailor made itineraries an advantage.
- Travel industry experience is highly regarded, in particular working within the Australian Tourism Industry.
- Certificate III in Travel & Tourism or equivalent highly desirable.
